How Bailey Sees It
About Me
Hi, I’m Bailey Rowe! I’m 23 years old and grew up in the heart of the Mississippi Delta, right along the Mississippi River. I’ve attended private school since the second grade, and let me tell you, private school definitely shaped me into a way funnier version of myself. Something about the smaller class sizes, quirky traditions, and the unique cast of characters you encounter in that kind of environment just gave me plenty of material to work with. I learned how to make people laugh, connect with others, and keep things light-hearted, even when life got serious.
Growing up in a small town also played a big role in who I am today. When you live in a place where everyone knows everyone, it’s impossible to go anywhere without running into a familiar face. It’s a little like living in one big family—sometimes chaotic, but always full of love and support. It taught me the value of community and how to genuinely connect with people, which has shaped how I approach friendships and relationships to this day.
I’m part of an amazing, blended family with 8 kids and 3 fur babies. I have 5 stepbrothers and a younger stepsister, but we never use the word "step"—they’re simply my siblings. I also have a loving older sister who wanted a little sister so much that she got me! I’m the only adopted child in my family, and I proudly wear that as a badge of honor.
Gymnastics has been a major part of my life. I competed for nearly 13 years and started teaching gymnastics during my junior year of high school. Coaching has given me the chance to share my passion and inspire the next generation of athletes.
Outside of gymnastics, I have a deep love for art, music, fashion, and hanging out with my friends. Whether I’m exploring creative outlets, discovering new music, or curating my style, I find joy in expressing myself. And of course, I have to mention my baby, Winnie Da Wiener Dog—she’s the star of my life and my constant companion.
My friends would probably describe me as goofy, someone who loves to make others laugh and bring joy to their lives. I genuinely enjoy being the one who can lighten the mood and make people smile. That said, living with ADHD and ADD means my thoughts can often feel scattered and random, which adds a layer of unpredictability to how I approach things. While it can be challenging at times, it also fuels my creativity and keeps life interesting.
I have many hopes and goals, with one of my biggest being to look back on my life one day and feel genuinely happy with how I’ve lived it. I want to do good things in the world, leave a positive mark, and make a difference in the lives of others. Helping people is deeply important to me, and I often show my love and care by being there for those who need it.
I’m currently a fifth-year student at Mississippi State University, triple-majoring and chasing my dreams. After graduation, I hope to pursue a career in digital marketing or advertising. I’m excited to combine my creativity, work ethic, and passion for connecting with people to leave a positive mark on the world.
